Lovelife.ie takes the privacy of our members seriously and the following describes how information is collected and controlled.

Data is gathered in two ways.

Firstly, as part of the registration process, our members provide information on themselves via a series of questions. Most of this information is available to other members to help match potentially suitable partners. We call this type of information Profile Information. Profile Information would include age, height and county of residence for example, but nothing that can identify an individual person. Other information is only available to the administration of the Lovelife.ie service and not to other members. This type of information would include members' names and e-mail addresses. We call this Personal Information. That information is used to communicate passwords and service updates, for example.

Secondly, data is also gathered electronically. This is done via cookies and your computer's IP address. Cookies are pieces of information sent by a web server to a web browser that can track what sites you visit. You can reject all cookies through your web browser, but this may affect you ability to use some or all of the services of Lovelife.ie. We reserve the right to provide aggregate statistics on numbers of users, age profiles, usage patterns and location to third parties. We do not provide individuals' Personal Information to third parties.

Lovelife.ie has security measures in place to protect the information provided to us. A reputable service provider based here in Ireland hosts our databases. However, it is not possible to guarantee 100% the security of any information provided over the Internet. As our service is free, however, you do not need to provide any credit card details or any other sensitive financial information.

We reserve the right to alter and update this Privacy Policy, but will post any changes on the Privacy Policy tab on the site. You are responsible for regularly checking the Privacy Policy for any changes and your continued use of the site is deemed acceptance of the changes.

Lovelife.ie contains links to other external sites but we do not take any responsibility for the privacy policies of other sites.
